Media

Visitors cannot upload media to this website. However, Parfocal Media may publish photographs, videos, or other creative works produced during client sessions. We only display this content with the consent of the individuals featured, either through written agreements or explicit permission.

Clients who receive private galleries or digital files should note that these are intended for personal or business use as outlined in their service agreement. We do not embed location data (EXIF GPS) in publicly shared images.

Who we share your data with

When you make a purchase or booking on our website, the personal information you provide (such as your name, email address, billing details, and IP address) is shared with third parties as necessary to complete your transaction. These include:

  • WooCommerce – to manage orders and provide e-commerce functionality.
  • Stripe – to securely process payments and perform fraud detection. Stripe may collect and store personal and payment information in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
  • Service Providers – such as website hosting, email, or spam detection services, which help us maintain site functionality and security.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to marketers or third parties.

How long we retain your data

Orders and Payments: When you place an order through our website, the personal information you provide (such as name, email, billing details, and IP address) is retained in our records for at least six (6) years to comply with Canadian tax and bookkeeping laws.

Contact Form Submissions: Messages submitted through our website contact forms are delivered to our business inbox (currently hosted on Google). These emails are retained as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry or provide client services.

User Accounts: If we offer account registration in the future, we will store the personal information provided in your user profile until you request deletion.

General Retention: We may keep non-identifiable data (such as anonymized analytics or log files) for site performance and security purposes.

What rights you have over your data

If you have placed an order or submitted a contact form through this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any information you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.
